Prerequisites for participation:
Age 16 or older
Proficiency in the German language at the C1/C2 level (native or near native)
How we work:
Salons are limited to 10 participants to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate actively. Depending on the length of the work, participants will be asked to read between 5 and 30 pages in preparation for each session. To kick off the discussion, a volunteer will read selected passage from the work out loud. These passages are then thoroughly debated and analyzed under the leadership of Die Hofmeisterin. Salon participants will also receive additional materials that will further guide and inform the readings as well as brief summaries of each Salon meeting.
Salon sessions will take place over the duration of one week or two months and last between 90 and 120 minutes.
